The 10 Best Micro Galaxy Squadron Ships Released in 2025

What a year to be a collector! 2025 has been absolutely insane for Jazwares’ Micro Galaxy Squadron line. We’ve received incredible pieces that take detail to a galactic scale, although let’s face it: our wallets have suffered more than the Death Star.

Today I want to review the best of the best from the last 12 months. Get ready, because here’s my Top 10 list of the best ships released this year.

The ranking was based on your responses in the Facebook groups, and I added my personal opinion.

Let’s get started!

10. Cloud Car

One of the most anticipated ships in this line. It would probably be in this year’s top 3 if only it were bigger. I think this ship should have been a Starfighter (not a Light Armor). But we’re already waiting for the rare/chase version from Series 10.

9. Tri-Droid

This ship was teased to us for over a year, and it delivered more than we expected. The fact that Jazwares included a droid to pilot another droid (completely unnecessary) shows they care about the figure’s value. The sculpting and the figure itself are fantastic, although the size is a bit smaller than I anticipated.

8. AT-AT Disney Store Exclusive

The piece I’m longing for from 2025 This set was truly the exclusive of this year. It appeared without warning on the Disney website (and I think it’s still in the Disney Stores inside the parks) and it didn’t last long. You get a lot for the price, plus (at that time) one of only 3 AT-STs available in the line.

7. XWing Visions

Exclusive Figure? from Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025
This ship had it all: great design; apparent exclusivity; exclusive modeling on the Astromech R-duo and the Karr Micro Figure. Only 3,000 were supposedly made. However, one day it appeared on Amazon, making the exclusive a coveted ship, and then it eventually became commonplace. Without a doubt, this is an excellent ship worthy of your collection.

6. Tie Reaper

The TIE Reaper is a great release from Jazwares. They even released a commercial and there was a lot of fanfare surrounding its launch alongside the ARC-170. Another great feature is that it’s the only ship that includes a missile/laser launch mechanism. Plus, it just went on sale for $9, making it a fantastic deal.

5. AT-TE 108th Battalion Vault

Top 5 without a doubt. For some reason, the blue paint looks fantastic on this line, and the AT-TE looks fabulous. The micro figures look great, the paint job is fabulous, and the packaging is top-notch. Great ship.

4. Premium Millenium Falcon Vault

I’m putting it ahead of the AT-TE because when it came out, it was the only way for many people to get their hands on the elusive Landspeeder. Plus, it was the first redesign with high-quality translucent packaging. A great ship. Great con, the price tag: $100 ?

3. Tie Avenger

With the success of the Andor series, I think this is the only original ship we really wanted to see in the line. We got a teaser with the Hallmark version, but we finally received it in December 2025, just in time to end the year on a high note.

2. Tie Defender

I chose the regular version and not the chase version because it’s another figure that many Action Fleet fans wanted, since the previous version was very rare.

Honorable Mention: Red Squadron Set

This is a set worth getting! Although it seems like it was released a long time ago, the reality is that it’s still a very undervalued set. But, for many people, it’s the only way to get a Biggs Darklighter. Also, according to Kevin’s video, we can see that the paint job is very close to Filmation Models. And if you get it at a discount, you get a lot of value for your money.

1. ARC-170

Simply the best figure of 2025. Unlike others, it delivers everything we asked for: 1) Larger than expected; 2) Two microfigures with special sculpting; 3) Available at all retailers (there were some distribution issues, but we were able to find it everywhere); 4) at a reasonable price. Without a doubt, the best ship of 2025.

And that concludes our Top 10 list of the best ships released by Jazwares in 2025!
